The annual European Chess Solving Championship was introduced in 2004 and follows the same multi-round format as the WCSC. Teams consist of four solvers, with the three highest scores for each round being combined to make the team total for that round. As with the WCSC, a country may enter an additional individual solver plus two from the categories of juniors, seniors or women. Great Britain won the team title in 2010, with John Nunn taking the individual title.
