Mate in 3

Godfrey Heathcote began composing in the mid-1880s and quickly established himself as one of Britain’s finest composers. He retained his skill to the extent that he won the Brian Harley Award for three-movers in 1951. He considered this problem to be one of his best “no queen” three-movers.
